7/7/2023, FRIDAY ACTIVITIES This week is the last week for the farm session and students must do the activities Harvesting and Post-Harvest Care, Final Harvesting Harvest long beans when they are ripe, Monitor the growth of the second crop, use appropriate fertilizers, and harvest the beans when they are ripe. After harvesting all the produce, we weigh and tie the long beans and sell them to buyers. On Friday, the farm activity is land clearing where we have to break the boundary so that it is flat as usual. Before that, we removed the okra trees that were in the border because most of the okra had been damaged by pests and diseases as a result of not applying insecticides. We had to throw it away because it couldn't be saved anymore. Also on Sunday, we have to go down to the farm to do land clearing for the last time.  23/6/2023, FRIDAY ACTIVITIES In the 12th week, many kale and long bean crops have yielded. Therefore, the plant must be harvested before it is old and pasted. The harvested plants have been separated, weighed according to type and put in plastic. The vegetable type plants have received a lot of response from uitm staff and lecturers. When it is ready to be weighed and packed, the students sell it to the person who ordered the vegetable. The price of two bunches of long beans is rm 4 and 1 kg of long beans is rm 7, the same as kale. The vegetables have been sold out and the rest of the crops have not yet yielded. Class D okra trees have not yet produced fruit and are not yet ready to be harvested. We also cleared the weed-filled plant borders during the week. CHALLENGES The challenge faced is that the demand for vegetables is high but the yield is only small, so the students cannot take the vegetables home because they have been ordered by the staff. WEEK 11

 16/7/2023, FRIDAY ACTIVITIES In the eleventh week which is week without wall week where all classes are held online because uitm jasin holds an open day. There are various programs and student shop booths as well as many other interesting activities held. On Friday, all FPA students have to go down to the farm as usual and morning rollcall as usual. After that we went to the plot to see the crops that were showing results. After finishing watering all the plants, all part 1 and part 2 students have to attend the pineapple brand launching program in the auditorium. The program went smoothly and the most fun thing was, all students were given food vouchers amounting to RM 10 per person. We are happy and grateful. CHALLENGES There were no challenges that day. COAST No coast was released that day. REFLECTION What I learned that day was how to develop your own brand and not to give up easily.

FRIDAY , 9/6/2023 ACTIVITIES In the 10th week, all students gathered in the parking lot as early as 640 am. After exercising in the morning, all students were instructed to jog around the campus. After that the students were instructed to go down to the farm. This week's activity is tying ropes to the stakes of the long bean tree because it has started to creep and has produced flowers.  26/5/2023, FRIDAY ACTIVITIES On friday last week, all students gathered in the parking lot as usual at 640 am. After finishing the morning exercise, the clouds will darken and the weather will rain. After 10 minutes passed, it started to rain heavily. All students move to the lecture cafe to continue the roll call. Once completed, all part 1 and part 2 diploma students move to the farm workshop for a briefing session before starting farm work. After finishing, we moved to our respective plots to see the plants and continue with the unfinished work such as making stakes for the long bean trees and watering the trees.Not forgotten either, we found three baby mice that were still red in the roll of rope when we wanted to use the rope to tie the spikes.                                                                  ...

 19/5/2023, FRIDAY ACTIVITIES This week's activities are weeding, tagging, apply chicken dung to the border where there are no trees, put nkp green fertilizer, renew mulching, herbarium and manuring. After the lecture finished giving a briefing, all the students started to do the work of uprooting weeds in each of their borders. Don't forget to water each plants. We also made stakes for the long bean plants that started creeping up. Before that, male students took wood from the forest and cut it first. CHALLENGES This week there aren't many challenges other than the patience to find small weeds above the border and pull them clean. COASTING   In this week, we spend RM23 for 5KG of the NPK GREEN and RM 135.20 for 8 pcs machete, REFFLECTION I can learn to recognize the types of weeds around my border. WEEK 7 12/5/2023 , FRIDAY   ACTIVITIES In the seventh week, the farm activity is do   mulchi ng each border. The material used for mulching this week is a natural material which is tall weeds. Male students cut the weeds using a machete. Before starting the activity, the lecture delivered a brief briefing on the farm activities that have been carried out at the beginning of the semester until now. The lecture told that the result of our hard work all this time has brought results that the border looks neat and the plants are also growing well. There is also good news about the farm PE that will no longer manage us. All the students are happy with the news because they don't have to deal with ragging anymore.     CHALLENGES The challenge we face this week is not bringing gloves when going down to the farm because we think there is no activity to be done but we need to cut weeds to be used as mulch and the weeds touch our hands and itch.
